AFR & TWCSI co-organized “From Hardship to Hall of Fame: Entrepreneurs Dialogue”
The “From Hardship to Hall of Fame: Entrepreneurs Dialogue” panel, co-organized by the Association of Foreign Relations (AFR) and Taiwan Coalition of Service Industries (TWCSI), was held on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Taipei World Trade Center Club, Taipei City. Two acclaimed entrepreneurs of Chinese descent from Southeast Asia and a prestigious local industrialist from Taiwan were invited to the panel and shared their own business paths, observations on the (South-)East Asian socio-economies and their companies’ corporate social responsibility. 
AFR Honorary Chairman & former R.O.C. Vice President Dr. Vincent Siew and AFR Chairman & former R.O.C. Foreign Minister Amb. Francisco H. L. Ou gave welcome and opening remarks. The panel was moderated by Founder of the Social Enterprise Commitment Foundation Professor MA Kai. Three speakers of the panel included Founder & Chairman of Country Heights Group Tan Sri LEE Kim Yew from Malaysia, Founder & CEO of Amata Corporation PCL Dr. Vikrom KROMADIT from Thailand, and Unitech Printed Circuit Board Corp Chairman & TWSCI Honorary Chairman Mr. CHANG Pen-tsao from Taiwan.
