對外關係協會、國立政治大學外交學系與國立政治大學外交系系友會於5月11日聯合舉辦「歐鴻鍊講座」,邀請中華民國第12、13任總統馬英九博士作為首屆主講人,以「當前我國應有的大戰略」為題,論述我國該採取的外交策略,為該講座植下了一個深具啟發性的肇始。

The Association for Foreign Relations, the Department of Foreign Affairs of National Chengchi University and the Friends of the Department of Foreign Affairs of National Chengchi University jointly held the "Ouuu Lecture" on May 11th, inviting Republic of China the 12th and 13th President Dr. 馬英九 as the first speaker, discussing the diplomatic strategies our country should adopt under the theme of "The Grand Strategy Our Country Should Have". This was a very inspiring beginning for the lecture.
The first #OuHunSeminar attracted great attention - Ambassador AuHun, the founding president of the Association for Foreign Relations and former Foreign Minister, joined Republic of China for more than 40 years of diplomacy, has contributed greatly to the development of the Association and to our foreign affairs. In memory of his dedication, the Association and the Department of Foreign Affairs of the University of China signed a memorandum of cooperation on 27 June 2022 and set up a seminar for the European Ambassador's diplomatic experience and professionalism. The guest speaker invited for this lecture is former President Dr. Ma Ying-jeou, adding importance and influence to this series of lectures.
This lecture was attended by a large number of people. In addition to the main venue, the live speech was broadcast to another classroom via connection. The atmosphere was warm. The lecture was delivered by Ambassador Lin Yongle, President of the Association for Foreign Relations and former Minister of Foreign Affairs. Ambassador Lin Yongle thanked Mrs. Au and Dr. Ma for their support and officially announced the start of the lecture.
President shared his views and thoughts on our country's future grand strategy in the lecture, and presented a series of inspirational perspectives. First of all, he mentioned his deep roots with the political university and shared his recent visit to mainland China. President said that during this visit, he had close exchanges with many people and discussed important issues of cross-strait relations. These visits provide him with the opportunity to gain insight into the current status and future development of cross-strait relations.
Subsequently, President reviewed the transformation of cross-Strait relations over the past decade and the historical changes between Taiwan and mainland China since 1949, including political, economic and cultural developments. He mentioned the 823 artillery war and the open family visit policy of that year, and described how cross-strait relations went from exaggeration to peaceful co-operation. These historical events not only represent the peaceful development of cross-strait relations, but also affect our country's diplomatic situation. He stressed that maintaining peace and harmony in the Taiwan region is of paramount importance, and that only through peaceful and stable cross-strait relations can Taiwan strive for maximum diplomatic space and international recognition.
President shared the achievements of cross-strait interaction during his time as President He mentioned that during his term of office, he actively promoted cross-strait exchanges and cooperation, signed a number of important agreements, and promoted the peaceful development of cross He also highlighted the 2010 Cross-Strait Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA) signed with mainland China and the achievements of efforts to promote cross-Strait relations.
President mentioned that our country has experienced great hardship from "diplomatic shock" to "diplomatic truce", and mentioned that peaceful, democratic and constitutional handling of cross-strait relations is the way to survive in our country's diplomatic relations. He pointed out that for cross-strait relations, we should hold on to the premise of preparing for war, avoiding war, and seeking peace, and seek maximum security and welfare for our country. In the diplomatic field, our country should adhere to three principles in promoting foreign aid: "the purpose should be right", "the process should be legal", and "the implementation should be effective". In this way, we can allow the four parties to be held without insult
At the end of the lecture, the participants asked questions, excited and curious about the contents of President speech. The students also asked questions about national development, cross-strait relations and future challenges, showing their concern and thinking about national issues. Guests in attendance said that the lecture not only expanded horizons but also provided a rare opportunity to interact with prominent politicians. The first parsley lecture came to a close in an intense atmosphere.

The first #OuHunSeminar attracted great attention - Ambassador AuHun, the founding president of the Association for Foreign Relations and former Foreign Minister, joined Republic of China for more than 40 years of diplomacy, has contributed greatly to the development of the Association and to our foreign affairs. In memory of his dedication, the Association and the Department of Foreign Affairs of the University of China signed a memorandum of cooperation on 27 June 2022 and set up a seminar for the European Ambassador's diplomatic experience and professionalism. The guest speaker invited for this lecture is former President Dr. Ma Ying-jeou, adding importance and influence to this series of lectures.

President shared his views and thoughts on our country's future grand strategy in the lecture, and presented a series of inspirational perspectives. First of all, he mentioned his deep roots with the political university and shared his recent visit to mainland China. President said that during this visit, he had close exchanges with many people and discussed important issues of cross-strait relations. These visits provide him with the opportunity to gain insight into the current status and future development of cross-strait relations.
Subsequently, President reviewed the transformation of cross-Strait relations over the past decade and the historical changes between Taiwan and mainland China since 1949, including political, economic and cultural developments. He mentioned the 823 artillery war and the open family visit policy of that year, and described how cross-strait relations went from exaggeration to peaceful co-operation. These historical events not only represent the peaceful development of cross-strait relations, but also affect our country's diplomatic situation. He stressed that maintaining peace and harmony in the Taiwan region is of paramount importance, and that only through peaceful and stable cross-strait relations can Taiwan strive for maximum diplomatic space and international recognition.
President shared the achievements of cross-strait interaction during his time as President He mentioned that during his term of office, he actively promoted cross-strait exchanges and cooperation, signed a number of important agreements, and promoted the peaceful development of cross He also highlighted the 2010 Cross-Strait Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA) signed with mainland China and the achievements of efforts to promote cross-Strait relations.
President mentioned that our country has experienced great hardship from "diplomatic shock" to "diplomatic truce", and mentioned that peaceful, democratic and constitutional handling of cross-strait relations is the way to survive in our country's diplomatic relations. He pointed out that for cross-strait relations, we should hold on to the premise of preparing for war, avoiding war, and seeking peace, and seek maximum security and welfare for our country. In the diplomatic field, our country should adhere to three principles in promoting foreign aid: "the purpose should be right", "the process should be legal", and "the implementation should be effective". In this way, we can allow the four parties to be held without insult
At the end of the lecture, the participants asked questions, excited and curious about the contents of President speech. The students also asked questions about national development, cross-strait relations and future challenges, showing their concern and thinking about national issues. Guests in attendance said that the lecture not only expanded horizons but also provided a rare opportunity to interact with prominent politicians. The Association for Foreign Relations, the Department of Foreign Affairs of National Chengchi University and the Friends of the Department of Foreign Affairs of National Chengchi University jointly held the "Ouuu Lecture" on May 11th, inviting Republic of China the 12th and 13th President Dr. 馬英九 as the first speaker, discussing the diplomatic strategies our country should adopt under the theme of "The Grand Strategy Our Country Should Have". This was a very inspiring beginning for the lecture.
The first #OuHunSeminar attracted great attention - Ambassador AuHun, the founding president of the Association for Foreign Relations and former Foreign Minister, joined Republic of China for more than 40 years of diplomacy, has contributed greatly to the development of the Association and to our foreign affairs. In memory of his dedication, the Association and the Department of Foreign Affairs of the University of China signed a memorandum of cooperation on 27 June 2022 and set up a seminar for the European Ambassador's diplomatic experience and professionalism. The guest speaker invited for this lecture is former President Dr. Ma Ying-jeou, adding importance and influence to this series of lectures.
This lecture was attended by a large number of people. In addition to the main venue, the live speech was broadcast to another classroom via connection. The atmosphere was warm. The lecture was delivered by Ambassador Lin Yongle, President of the Association for Foreign Relations and former Minister of Foreign Affairs. President shared his views and thoughts on our country's future grand strategy in the lecture, and presented a series of inspirational perspectives. First of all, he mentioned his deep roots with the political university and shared his recent visit to mainland China. President said that during this visit, he had close exchanges with many people and discussed important issues of cross-strait relations. These visits provide him with the opportunity to gain insight into the current status and future development of cross-strait relations.
Subsequently, President reviewed the transformation of cross-Strait relations over the past decade and the historical changes between Taiwan and mainland China since 1949, including political, economic and cultural developments. He mentioned the 823 artillery war and the open family visit policy of that year, and described how cross-strait relations went from exaggeration to peaceful co-operation. These historical events not only represent the peaceful development of cross-strait relations, but also affect our country's diplomatic situation. He stressed that maintaining peace and harmony in the Taiwan region is of paramount importance, and that only through peaceful and stable cross-strait relations can Taiwan strive for maximum diplomatic space and international recognition.

President mentioned that our country has experienced great hardship from "diplomatic shock" to "diplomatic truce", and mentioned that peaceful, democratic and constitutional handling of cross-strait relations is the way to survive in our country's diplomatic relations. He pointed out that for cross-strait relations, we should hold on to the premise of preparing for war, avoiding war, and seeking peace, and seek maximum security and welfare for our country. In the diplomatic field, our country should adhere to three principles in promoting foreign aid: "the purpose should be right", "the process should be legal", and "the implementation should be effective". In this way, we can allow the four parties to be held without insult
At the end of the lecture, the participants asked questions, excited and curious about the contents of President speech. The students also asked questions about national development, cross-strait relations and future challenges, showing their concern and thinking about national issues. Guests in attendance said that the lecture not only expanded horizons but also provided a rare opportunity to interact with prominent politicians. President shared his views and thoughts on our country's future grand strategy in the lecture, and presented a series of inspirational perspectives. First of all, he mentioned his deep roots with the political university and shared his recent visit to mainland China. President said that during this visit, he had close exchanges with many people and discussed important issues of cross-strait relations. These visits provide him with the opportunity to gain insight into the current status and future development of cross-strait relations.
Subsequently, President reviewed the transformation of cross-Strait relations over the past decade and the historical changes between Taiwan and mainland China since 1949, including political, economic and cultural developments. He mentioned the 823 artillery war and the open family visit policy of that year, and described how cross-strait relations went from exaggeration to peaceful co-operation. These historical events not only represent the peaceful development of cross-strait relations, but also affect our country's diplomatic situation. He stressed that maintaining peace and harmony in the Taiwan region is of paramount importance, and that only through peaceful and stable cross-strait relations can Taiwan strive for maximum diplomatic space and international recognition.
President shared the achievements of cross-strait interaction during his time as President He mentioned that during his term of office, he actively promoted cross-strait exchanges and cooperation, signed a number of important agreements, and promoted the peaceful development of cross He also highlighted the 2010 Cross-Strait Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA) signed with mainland China and the achievements of efforts to promote cross-Strait relations.
President mentioned that our country has experienced great hardship from "diplomatic shock" to "diplomatic truce", and mentioned that peaceful, democratic and constitutional handling of cross-strait relations is the way to survive in our country's diplomatic relations. He pointed out that for cross-strait relations, we should hold on to the premise of preparing for war, avoiding war, and seeking peace, and seek maximum security and welfare for our country. In the diplomatic field, our country should adhere to three principles in promoting foreign aid: "the purpose should be right", "the process should be legal", and "the implementation should be effective". In this way, we can allow the four parties to be held without insult
At the end of the lecture, the participants asked questions, excited and curious about the contents of President speech. The students also asked questions about national development, cross-strait relations and future challenges, showing their concern and thinking about national issues. Guests in attendance said that the lecture not only expanded horizons but also provided a rare opportunity to interact with prominent politicians. #歐鴻鍊講座 首屆舉行即引起了極大的關注──對外關係協會創會會長、前外交部長歐鴻鍊大使投身中華民國外交40餘年,對於本會發展及我國外交貢獻卓著。為感念其奉獻,本會和政大外交系於2022年6月27日簽訂合作備忘錄,設置歐鴻鍊講座,以將歐大使的外交經驗及專業精神傳承於世。本場講座邀請的主講嘉賓為前總統馬英九博士,更是為此系列講座增添了重要性和影響力。
本次講座與會人數眾多,除主場地座無虛席,另透過連線將現場演講轉播至另間教室,氣氛熱絡。講座由對外關係協會會長、前外交部 部長林永樂大使致詞。林永樂大使感謝歐部長夫人與馬博士對講座的鼎力支持,並正式宣告講座開始。
馬前總統在講座中分享了對我國未來大戰略的看法和思考,並提出了一系列具有啟發性的觀點。首先,他提到了自己與政大淵源深厚,並分享最近對中國大陸的訪問見聞。馬前總統表示,在此次訪問與許多人士進行了密切的交流,並討論了兩岸關係的重要議題。這些訪問為他提供深入了解當前兩岸關係現狀和未來發展的機會。
隨後,馬前總統回顧了臺海兩岸關係在過去十多年間的轉變,以及自1949年以來,臺灣與中國大陸之間的歷史變遷,包括政治、經濟和文化方面的發展。他提及八二三炮戰以及當年的開放探親政策,敘述兩岸關係是如何從劍拔弩張走到和平相處。這些歷史事件不只代表兩岸關係的和平發展,更影響了我國的外交處境。他強調維持臺海地區的和平、和睦是至關重要的,並且只有透過和平穩定的兩岸關係,臺灣才能爭取最大的外交空間和國際認同。

The Association for Foreign Relations, the Department of Foreign Affairs of National Chengchi University and the Friends of the Department of Foreign Affairs of National Chengchi University jointly held the "Ouuu Lecture" on May 11th, inviting Republic of China the 12th and 13th President Dr. 馬英九 as the first speaker, discussing the diplomatic strategies our country should adopt under the theme of "The Grand Strategy Our Country Should Have". This was a very inspiring beginning for the lecture.
The first #OuHunSeminar attracted great attention - Ambassador AuHun, the founding president of the Association for Foreign Relations and former Foreign Minister, joined Republic of China for more than 40 years of diplomacy, has contributed greatly to the development of the Association and to our foreign affairs. In memory of his dedication, the Association and the Department of Foreign Affairs of the University of China signed a memorandum of cooperation on 27 June 2022 and set up a seminar for the European Ambassador's diplomatic experience and professionalism. The guest speaker invited for this lecture is former President Dr. Ma Ying-jeou, adding importance and influence to this series of lectures.
