【優遊台中學--大使帶你遊世界講座系列】
上周六(3月25日)補班補課，對外關係協會(簡稱本會)與臺中市政府教育局在臺中市惠文高中辦理了首場「大使帶你遊世界講座」，邀請擁有42年的外交資歷和16年駐法經驗的呂慶龍大使和學子座談。呂慶龍大使曾在荷蘭、瑞士、海地和日內瓦等地服務，被稱為「最懂得行銷台灣的文化大使」，甚至巴黎有一條被當地市議會命名的「呂慶龍巷」。
活動首先由甫參加法國在台協會舉辦第20屆法語歌唱比賽，榮獲全國亞軍的惠文高中同學們獻唱得獎歌曲，以動人的法語歌曲感謝大使的貢獻。
中華民國的國際形勢長期以來都受到中共當局的嚴重影響，雖然官式外交空間極為有限，但凸顯臺灣軟實力，以積極參與非政府組織等非傳統外交的方式提升國際地位，就顯得更加重要了。前來聽講的惠文高中國際班學生，有不少未來會選擇出國深造和發展，呂大使分享了生活觀、世界觀和價值觀，勉勵同學們隨時準備好，就不怕突發狀況考驗。

Last Saturday (March 25), the Association for Foreign Relations (the Association) and the Education Bureau of the Taichung Municipal Government held the first "Ambassador Take You Around the World Lecture" at Huwen High School in Taichung City, inviting ambassadors and students with 42 years of diplomatic experience and 16 years of experience in France to talk. Ambassador Yao Qinglong has served in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Haiti and Geneva, and is known as the "cultural ambassador who knows how to market Taiwan" and even has a "Lao Qinglong Lane" named by the local city council in Paris.
The event started with Yao participating in the 20th French Singing Competition held by the French Association in Taiwan. The students of Huwen High School, who won the national runner-up, sang the award-winning songs, and thanked the ambassador for his contribution with moving French songs
The international situation of Republic of China has long been heavily influenced by the Chinese Communist Party authorities. Although official diplomatic space is extremely limited, it is all the more important to highlight Taiwan's soft power and promote its international status by actively participating in non-traditional diplomacy such as non-governmental organizations. Many of the students of Huewengao Chinese international class who came to listen to the talk will choose to go abroad for further study and development in the future. Ambassador Jiang shared his outlook on life, world view and values, encouraging students to be ready at any time, not afraid of sudden situation test.
In cooperation with the Education Bureau of the Taichung Municipal Government and Taichung City Huiwen Senior High School, the Association launched the "Ambassador Take You to the World" course. Then there are 4 lectures open to Zhongtou Miao high school professional students to register on the Taiwan Middle School website ( http://tclearn.eduweb.tw/System/main/Home/index.php @TAG). On April 8, Ambassador Lai Jianzhong talked about Latin America and the Caribbean, Ambassador Ge Guangyue talked about Eastern Europe on April 22, Ambassador Liang Ying-chung talked about Northeast Asia on May 6, and Ambassador Zhang Jiping talked about Southeast Asia on May 27. The Association and the Education Bureau of the Taichung Municipal Government hope that through various lectures, the cultural and historical landscape and interpersonal economic exchanges of various regions will be vividly presented to students, thus enhancing their core literacy of multiculturalism and international understanding.

Then there are 4 lectures open to Zhongtou Miao high school professional students to register on the Taiwan Middle School website ( http://tclearn.eduweb.tw/System/main/Home/index.php @TAG). On April 8, Ambassador Lai Jianzhong talked about Latin America and the Caribbean, Ambassador Ge Guangyue talked about Eastern Europe on April 22, Ambassador Liang Ying-chung talked about Northeast Asia on May 6, and Ambassador Zhang Jiping talked about Southeast Asia on May 27. The Association and the Education Bureau of the Taichung Municipal Government hope that through various lectures, the cultural and historical landscape and interpersonal economic exchanges of various regions will be vividly presented to students, thus enhancing their core literacy of multiculturalism and international understanding.

Last Saturday (March 25), the Association for Foreign Relations (the Association) and the Education Bureau of the Taichung Municipal Government held the first "Ambassador Take You Around the World Lecture" at Huwen High School in Taichung City, inviting ambassadors and students with 42 years of diplomatic experience and 16 years of experience in France to talk. Ambassador Yao Qinglong has served in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Haiti and Geneva, and is known as the "cultural ambassador who knows how to market Taiwan" and even has a "Lao Qinglong Lane" named by the local city council in Paris.
The event started with Yao participating in the 20th French Singing Competition held by the French Association in Taiwan. The students of Huwen High School, who won the national runner-up, sang the award-winning songs, and thanked the ambassador for his contribution with moving French songs
