📣【本會111年會員大會、理監事改選、選任第五屆會長】
對外關係協會(下稱本會)於去(111)年11月29日下午假新北市板橋區召開第十次會員大會,由時任會長夏大使立言主持。
夏大使回顧,協會自成立以來,沒有定期接受任何政府的資源,都是靠各位會員的會費與外界贊助,當根據協會宗旨找到工作路徑之後,可以明顯感受到社會上對協會的支持。他接任會長後,在新冠疫情影響下,沒辦法往國外走,便在國內進行教育工作,協會利用極為有限的資源,與全台約十個大學有多年的合作計畫,希望年輕學子可以多了解實際的世界,多一點國際觀,而且協會也與地方政府在各級學校進行類似合作。
夏大使指出,協會與長風基金會,之前還包括台北論壇基金會,合作推出Taiwan Weekly英文電子報,每週選出三篇與台灣有關的文章,加上該週台灣大事,由協會摘譯成英文,再透過長風基金會用電子的方式送到超過5,000個機構或個人。他也特別感謝各方歷年來的贊助,讓協會在舉辦或規劃諸如「歐鴻鍊講座」、區域專題座談等活動時可以無後顧之憂。

民國111年12月16日第五屆理事會第一次會議,推選林永樂大使任第五屆會長、李澄然大使任第五屆副會長、令狐榮達大使為常務理事;同日第五屆監事會第一次會議,則推選夏立言大使任常務監事。
新任會長林大使永樂表示,將延續歐創會會長鴻鍊與夏前會長的規劃與理念,使協會成為中華民國首屈一指的民間涉外事務專業團體,並對於第一至第四屆理監事、顧問群的無私貢獻致上最深謝忱。林會長並委請國立政治大學外交系黃奎博教授續任協會秘書長。
📣The 111th General Meeting of the Association, the re-election of the director and supervisor, the election of the 5th President 】
The Association for Foreign Relations (hereafter referred to as the Association) held its 10th general meeting in Banqiao District, New Taipei City on the afternoon of November 29th (111) and was chaired by Ambassador Xia, then President.
Ambassador Xia recalled that since its establishment, the association has not received any government resources regularly, it relies on members' fees and external sponsorships, and when finding a way to work according to the aims of the association, it is obvious that the community support for the association is felt. After he took over as president, he was unable to travel abroad under the influence of the COVID-19 epidemic, so he carried out education work at home. The association used extremely limited resources and worked with about ten universities across Taiwan for many years. It hoped that young students could learn more about the real world and have a little more international view. The association also conducted similar cooperation with local governments at all levels of schools.
Ambassador Xia pointed out that the association and the Longfeng Foundation, previously including the Taipei Forum Foundation, launched the Taiwan Weekly English newsletter, selected three Taiwan-related articles each week, plus the Taiwan events of the week, were translated into English by the association, and delivered electronically to over 5,000 institutions or individuals via the Long Wind Foundation. He also thanked all parties for their sponsorship over the years, allowing the association to hold or plan events such as the "Parsses" and regional panel discussions without concern.

At the first meeting of the 5th Council of the Republic of China on December 16, 2011, Ambassador Lin Yongle was elected as the 5th President, Ambassador Li Chengran as the 5th Vice-President, and Ambassador Hu Rongda as the standing director. At the first meeting of the 5th Supervisory Board on the same day, Ambassador Xia Liyan was elected as the standing supervisor.
Ambassador Lin Yongle, the new president, said that the plan and philosophy of the European founding president, Yao and the pre-summer president, will be continued, making the association the premier private foreign affairs professional body of Republic of China and would like to express our deepest gratitude for the selfless contributions of the first to fourth executive supervisors and advisory group. President Lin also appointed Professor Huang Kuibo, Department of Foreign Affairs of National Chengchi University, to renew the post of Secretary General of the Association.
