本會今天（10月9日）於會議室舉行「美國總統大選對於歐盟之影響」座談會，歐盟前資深官員/歐盟駐美國代表團經濟與金融組長特別顧問Moreno Bertoldi與本會會長林永樂、呂慶龍大使、葛光越大使、高安副院長與賴維中公使一起就此議題深入交流。
座談會中，Bertoldi先生就歐盟基本情況逐一簡介，接著觸及美國大選，分析兩黨候選人如果當選對歐盟的利弊，並提及美國大選對兩岸關係之影響，本會與會人士亦提出對應觀點，雙方交流熱絡，使原定2小時的座談，逾時約1小時，欲罷不能。
Today (9 October) in the conference room, the Association held a panel on "US President Election Impact on the European Union". Moreno Bertoldi, former senior EU official/Special Advisor to the Head of the Economic and Financial Section of the European Union Mission to the United States, together with our President Lin Yongle, Ambassador Yang Qinglong, Ambassador Ge Guangyue, Vice President Gao An and Minister Lai Wei, had in-depth exchanges on this issue.
During the seminar, Mr. Bertoldi introduced the basic situation of the European Union one by one, then touched on the US election, analyzed the pros and cons of the candidates of the two parties if elected to the European Union, and mentioned the impact of the US election on cross-strait relations. The participants of the meeting also put forward corresponding views. The two sides exchanged warm views, so that the scheduled two-hour discussion was about 1 hour overdue.
