我國駐馬拉威大使的官邸位於首都里郎威Lilongwe的第十區，全國首善之區。馬國首都的規劃，是由南非專家設計。南非早年是由白人統治，勵行「種族隔離」政策。因此馬國首都被「種族隔離」的思維，設計成十幾個區塊。第十區是內閣高官，部長，外國使節，國際組織，醫師，外國專家等等高端人士最多的區，被視為「特區」。
我國的大使官邸在此區，非常有名。它地位明顯，警衛森嚴，建築相當氣派，美崙美奐，算是著名景點。另外，它還有兩大出名的原因。第一個是，S大使養了大約一百隻鴿子，鴿群飛舞遨翔，相當壯觀。這是首都唯一的鴿群。養鴿子的主要目的，不是觀賞，而是美食。大使在官邸宴請馬國政要，一定有一道名菜「烤乳鴿」，廣受歡迎。
