本會秘書長、政治大學外交系副教授黃奎博投書聯合報【維持索羅門邦交不能只靠外交人員苦守岡位 / 問題在兩岸 而非索羅門】
值此兩岸關係急轉直下、蔡英文政府已經丟失五個邦交國之時，蘇嘉瓦瑞甫上任就放出可能承認北京的消息，或許是故技重施，希望在蔡政府對前總理何瑞朗所做出的金援承諾之外，再多爭取一些屬於他自己和國會黨員同志可以運用的資源。
務實言之，目前我國邦交和國際空間若要止跌，最重要的是尋求兩岸關係的互信穩定，不是只要求外交人員苦守崗位，也不能都靠美國出手相助。
