明新科技大學邀請本會副會長令狐榮達大使於本(107)年10月19日演講「從國際局勢看中華民國外交處境」，近兩百名師生現場聆聽，張紹鈞董事長代表學校誠摯歡迎。
令狐大使以金庸小說「笑傲江湖」開場，介紹自己的罕見姓氏在全台灣僅有13位；從西班牙人在淡水建立紅毛城談起，介紹中國近代之中法戰爭、中日甲午戰爭、中華民國的建立以及二次世界大戰後因國際局勢造成的兩岸國際競合，我國從創立聯合國到退出聯合國及相關國際組織，歷任總統外交政策的演進，以及美「中」台三角關係隨著國際局勢產生的微妙發展；也分享其在外交部任內曾接待美國前總統柯林頓，以及在北美司司長任內取得加拿大與美國給予我國免簽證待遇等諸多外交成果。
令狐大使表示，儘管兩岸關係緊繃，世界主要國家多秉持「一個中國」原則，但中華民國具有許多軟實力優勢，應以智慧取得兩岸關係之和平穩定發展。他也期許在場學生多閱讀及終生學習來充實知識、常識與膽識「三識」，以及培養coordination(協調)、communication(溝通)、cooperation(合作)的「三C」團隊精神，當能在艱困的國際局勢中屹立並經營成功人生。
令狐大使曾任駐奧克蘭辦事處處長、駐洛杉磯辦事處處長、駐加拿大代表、駐馬紹爾群島共和國大使、外交部北美司司長、外交部政務次長等要職。本場演講為明新科大通識教育中心之社會科學教學中心執行高教深耕計畫「國際視野工作坊」成果，亦是該校52週年校慶系列活動。
Mingxin University of Science and Technology invited Ambassador Ren Fu Rongda, Vice President of the Association, to give a speech "From the international situation Republic of China The diplomatic situation" on October 19, this year. Nearly 200 teachers and students listened to it. Chairman Zhang Shaoxin on behalf of the school sincerely welcomed it.
Ambassador Fu started with Jin Yong's novel "Laughing and proud", introducing his rare surname only 13 in Taiwan. Starting from the Spanish's establishment of Red Hair City in Freshwater, he introduced China's modern Sino-French War, the Sino-Japanese War, the establishment of Republic of China and the cross-Strait international competition caused by the international situation after World War II. From the founding of the United Nations to its withdrawal from the United Nations and related international organizations, China's foreign policy evolution, as well as the delicate development of the US-China-Taiwan Triangle relationship with the international situation. He also shared many diplomatic achievements during his term of Foreign Affairs, including receiving the United States from Canada and the United States visa-free treatment granted to our country by Canada and the United States during his term of
Ambassador Ling Fu said that despite the tight cross-strait relations and the major countries in the world adhere to the "one China" principle, Republic of China has many soft power advantages and should use wisdom to achieve peaceful and stable development of cross-strait relations. He also hopes that students present will read more and lifelong learning to enrich the "three senses" of knowledge, common sense and courage, and to cultivate the "three C" team spirit of coordination, communication, and cooperation, which will stand up and run successful lives in the difficult international situation.
Ambassador Ying Fox has served as head of office in Oakland, head of office in Los Angeles, representative in Canada, ambassador to the Republic of the Marshall Islands, director of North America Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and deputy minister of affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This speech is the result of the "International Vision Workshop" implemented by the Social Science Teaching Center of Ming Xin University of Science and Technology Education Center, and is also the school's 52nd anniversary celebration series.
