The five characteristics of American development are summed up: the independence war, the civil war, and the two world wars, the national strength gradually gained strength; the first written constitution, the release of the Liberation Declaration, etc. to protect the rights of the people; the vast territory, natural geographical barrier, and abundant natural resources; the military, economic, scientific, and cultural development; and the establishment and defense of national interests and values.Next, let Ambassador Fox talk about the past US President policy on Taiwan... I believe that despite the difficulties that Taiwan has suffered in recent years, it still has the advantages of soft power, including democracy, freedom, human rights constitutional system, Chinese culture heritage, vibrant civil society groups, excellent medical system, life safety, and friendly people, and so on, it is appropriate to actively engage and exchange with the international community. Finally, Ambassador Fox encouraged the students in the field to self-fulfill and lifelong learning, while at the same time valued team cooperation, to cultivate the "three senses": knowledge, common sense, and courage, and to enhance the "three Cs": coordination, communication, cooperation, for application in the future workplace.(Credit: http://genedu.nutn.edu.tw/news.php?id=1156 )
