戴雅門（Larry Diamond）- 史丹福大學胡佛研究所和Freeman Spogli國際研究中心(FSI)的資深研究員，為世界知名的民主研究學者，其專長領域為比較民主發展和美國外交政策。他曾擔任「民主、發展和法治中心」主任，並主持關於阿拉伯改革與民主，以及臺灣民主的研究計劃。他是《民主雜誌》（Journal of Democracy）的共同創刊編輯，也是美國國家民主基金的高級顧問。
夏立言 - 曾任行政院大陸委員會主任委員、國防部軍政副部長、外交部政務次長、駐印尼代表、駐印度代表、駐紐約辦事處處長等重要職務。
沈呂巡 - 曾任駐美國代表、駐英國代表、外交部政務次長、駐歐盟兼駐比利時代表處代表、駐日內瓦辦事處處長、駐美國代表處國會聯絡組組長及秘書（政治）組組長等重要職務。

Ambassador of our Summer President will host the Long Wind Foundation's "Where is American Democracy Going?" on Sunday, August 19th (107) from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. "In-depth talk of the series of lectures.
The event invited Professor Larry Diamond, Senior Fellow of the Hoover Institute at Stanford University, and Republic of China former representative to the United States, Ambassador Shen Yao, to talk about Political Polarization in America. Larry Diamond - Senior Fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institute and Freeman Spogli Center for International Studies (FSI), a world-renowned scholar of democracy studies, with expertise in comparative democratic development and U.S. foreign policy. He served as director of the Center for Democracy, Development, and Rule of Law, and led research programs on Arab reform and democracy, and democracy in Taiwan. He is the co-founder editor of the Journal of Democracy and a senior advisor to the National Democracy Fund.
Xia Liyan - has served as the Chairman of the Mainland Commission of the Executive Yuan, Deputy Minister of Military Affairs and Administration of the Ministry of Defense, Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Representative to Indonesia, Representative to India, Director of the New York Office, etc.
Inspector Shen - has served as representative to the US, representative to the UK, deputy to the Foreign Ministry, representative to the European Union and representative to Belgium, director of the Geneva office, head of the Congressional Liaison team and head of the Secretary (Political) team, etc.
