本(107)年6月28日，本會夏立言會長於中華經濟研究院台灣東南亞國家協會研究中心、中華民國全國工業總會合辦之「全球政經變局下的東亞經濟整合 ─對我國新南向政策之影響與因應」研討會 ，與談「新南向政策之成效與檢討」。會議由中華經濟研究院吳中書院長主持，另外三位與談人為立法院鍾佳濱委員、中華民國對外貿易發展協會莊碩漢副董事長及大成集團韓家宇董事長。
本次研討會邀請政府官員、學者、專家及企業領袖發表觀察及建議，談論主題包含「2018年全球政經安全局勢及其對亞洲的影響」、「2018年東南亞與南亞政經大事解析」及「競爭或合作？─主要亞洲國家的南向政策及其對我國新南向政策之影響」。
On June 28, 2017, President Xia Liyan of our Association of Southeast Asian Nations at the Chinese Institute of Economic Research, Republic of China co-sponsored by the National Federation of Industry, the "East Asian Economic Integration under the Global Political and Economic Change Bureau - Impact and Response to China's New Southbound Policy" seminar, and discussed "The effectiveness and review of the New Southbound Policy". The meeting was hosted by the President of the Chinese Institute of Economic Research, Mr. Wu Zhong College. The other three speakers were Member of the Legislative Yuan, Mr. Jiang Jia-han, Vice Chairman of the Foreign Trade Development Association, Mr. Zhuang, and Chairman of the Dacheng
The workshop invited government officials, academics, experts and business leaders to present observations and recommendations on topics such as "2018 Global Political and Economic Security Situation and Its Impact on Asia", "An analysis of Southeast and South Asian Political and Economic Events in 2018" and "Competition or Cooperation?" -The southbound policies of major Asian countries and their impact on our new southbound policy".
