106年8月31日上午10時，本會舉辦「外交重鎮拉美與加勒比海：藍智民大使駐節經驗分享」座談會，邀請到本會理事、前駐巴拿馬/墨西哥/智利等國藍智民大使擔任講者，以及本會副會長、前駐英國/印尼/紐西蘭大使為座談主持人。
藍大使除了分享他長期駐節中南美洲的經驗，也例數我國與我中南美洲邦交自60年代起的經貿、政治關係。與會人員亦根據自身長期經營或研究我國與拉丁美洲關係的經驗及成果，針對當前我國面臨的挑戰以及現況情勢等進行熱烈討論、交流，十分精彩！

At 10:00 am on August 31, 2016, the Association held a symposium on "Latin America and the Caribbean: Ambassador Lan Zhimin's experience sharing" and invited members of the Council, former ambassadors from Panama/ Mexico/ Chile, as speakers, as well as Vice President of the Council and former Ambassador to the UK/Indonesia/New Zealand as the moderator.
In addition to sharing his long-term experience in Central and South America, Ambassador Blue also gave examples of the economic, trade and political relations between China and my Central and South America since the 1960s. The participants also conducted lively discussions and exchanges on the current challenges facing our country and the current situation based on their own experience and achievements in long-term operation or research of our country's relations with Latin America. It was very exciting!
