[金雞報喜 新春如意! Happy Chinese New Year! ]
各位會員及好友：
丁酉年即將到來，協會在各位支持及鼓勵下，已經邁入第四個年頭。我們秉持成立宗旨，藉由舉辦或參加國內外研討會、座談會或演講會，發揮社會教育功能，提高國內各界對於涉外事務的瞭解及重視，並協助我國各界推展對外關係、兩岸互動及國際交流。
協會人力雖然非常精簡，但去年仍有接待英國國會議員、與美國及瑞典學界舉行公開及閉門會議、協助本會會員等赴大專院校專題演講或與談、舉辦民調新聞發布會等數十項大大小小的活動。安排或招待不週之處，尚請各位見諒，並盼時賜南針。
至盼各位在來年繼續支持協會，眾志成城，使協會能藉由各位的參與及督促發揮更大功效。

Dear members and friends:
The Year of Ding is approaching, and with your support and encouragement, the Association is now entering its fourth year. With the purpose of founding, we play the function of social education by holding or participating in domestic and foreign seminars, symposiums or lectures, improve the understanding and importance of foreign-related affairs from all sectors in China, and help all sectors of our country promote foreign relations, cross-strait interaction and international exchanges.
Although the association's manpower is very lean, last year it still hosted British MPs, held open and closed-door meetings with the US and Swedish academic circles, assisted members of the association to give lectures or talks at universities and colleges, and held poll press conferences, etc. Please forgive me for the arrangements or hospitality that are wrong, and hope to give the south needle in time.
I hope you will continue to support the association in the coming year, so that the association can be more effective through your participation and supervision.
