本會會長、前外交部長歐鴻鍊大使於本(105)年10月上旬率團分赴瑞典烏普薩拉及斯德哥爾摩，與當地專家學者就南海仲裁案後衍生之相關議題交換觀點。
訪團於10月5日至烏普薩拉大學(Uppsala University)參加「烏普薩拉民主、和平及公義論壇」(Uppsala Forum on Democracy, Peace & Justice) ，以「南海競合下之美中台三邊關係」座談會(China, Taiwan, and US: Relations in the South China Sea)。翌日，本會與瑞典國際事務研究院(Swedish Institute of International Affairs, Ui)合辦閉門會議，由歐會長致開幕詞，之後針對美國及中國大陸在南海的可能政策及未來發展方向進行討論。雙方於會後論及進一步交流合作的可能性。
訪問瑞典期間，本團另與當地國際與外交事務社群人士交流 ，對於促進台、瑞雙方在南海區域及兩岸事務的了解有正面助益。

Ambassador Au Yan, President of the Council and former Foreign Minister, led a delegation to Uppsala, Sweden and Stockholm in early October 2015 to exchange views with local experts and scholars on issues arising from the South China Sea arbitration case.
The delegation attended the Uppsala Forum on Democracy, Peace & Justice at Uppsala University on October 5th, for a seminar on "China, Taiwan, and US: Relations in the South China Sea". The following day, we co-hosted a closed-door meeting with the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (Ui) with the opening remarks of the European President, followed by discussions on possible policies and future directions for the United States and mainland China in the South China Sea. The two sides discussed the possibility of further exchanges and cooperation after the meeting.
During the visit to Sweden, the delegation also exchanged views with the local international and foreign affairs community, which helped promote the understanding of Taiwan and Sweden in the South China Sea region and cross-strait affairs.
