對外關係協會將於七月十三日在美國華府合辦海峽兩岸關係研討會
對外關係協會與布魯金斯學會東亞政策研究中心(Center for East Asia Policy Studies at Brookings)、約翰桑頓中國中心( John L. Thornton China Center)和戰略與國際研究中心費和中國研究講座(Freeman Chair in China Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies)合作，於本(2015)年7月13日共同在美國華府布魯金斯學會福克廳(Falk Auditorium)舉辦「兩岸關係的回顧與前瞻」(Relations across the Taiwan Strait: Retrospective and Prospects for Future Development)研討會，並邀請學者組團前往與會。
此會議以行政院陸委會夏立言主委專題演說開場；三場小組討論分別聚焦於兩岸關係、中國大陸內部發展以及台灣、美國與中國大陸三邊關係，並由卜睿哲 (Richard C. Bush)、葛來儀 (Bonnie Glaser)、李成 (Cheng Li )分別擔任各場次的主持人及評論人。
在三場小組討論中，將分別邀請五位臺灣學者：西密西根大學王元綱教授、國立政治大學/中央研究院冷則剛教授、國立台北大學吳秀光教授、淡江大學黃介正教授、國立台灣大學童涵浦教授，以及擔任訪團團長的對外關係協會秘書長黃奎博教授，一同與美國及中國大陸專家學者討論上述議題。美國在臺協會 (AIT)薄瑞光 (Raymond Burghardt )主席將於會議午宴中致詞。

The Association for Foreign Relations will co-host a seminar on cross-strait relations in Washington, D.C. on July 13
Association for Foreign Relations, Center for East Asia Policy Studies at Brookings, John L. Thornton China Center and Freeman Chair in China Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies co-hosted a seminar on "Relations across the Taiwan Strait: Retrospective and Prospects for Future Development" on July 13, 2015 at the Brookings Institution's Falk Auditorium in Washington, D.C., and invited a group of scholars to attend.
The meeting opened with a special speech by the Chairman of the Mainland Affairs Council of the Executive Yuan; three panel discussions focused on cross-strait relations, internal development of mainland China, and the trilateral relationship between Taiwan, the United States and mainland China respectively. Bush), Bonnie Glaser and Cheng Li served as host and commentator for each session.
In the three panel discussions, five Taiwanese scholars will be invited: Professor Wang Yuan-chuan of Western Michigan University, Professor Leng Zigang of National Chengchi University/School of Central Studies, Professor Leng Xiuang of National Taipei University, Professor Huang Kaizheng of Tamjiang University, Professor Tong Hanpu of National Taiwan University, and Professor Huang Kuibo, Secretary General of the Foreign Relations Association, who is the head of the visiting delegation, to discuss the above issues with experts and scholars from the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) Chairman Raymond Burghardt will address the conference lunch.

As one of Taiwan's premier non-profit organizations, the Association for Foreign Relations focuses on developing Taiwan's connection with the world and promoting grass-roots attention to global affairs. For the second time, the Association for Foreign Relations has been commissioned by the Mainland Affairs Council to hold a workshop with major American think tanks in Washington.
