黃奎博也分析，朱立倫這次出訪對內、對外有不同意義。他指出，訪問新加坡，是藉機向國內民眾證明他具有處理涉外事物能力；而訪問香港，則是向北京傳達他可以穩定處理兩岸關係，同時釋放互相培養政治互信的訊息。」
