美國南加大傳播與新聞學院Tom Hollihan教授於9月22日在國立政治大學發表題為Mass Media and the Sino-Japanese Territorial Dispute的演講。Hollihan教授同時從國際層次與國內層次探討釣魚台爭議的發展以及造成影響的各種因素,並分析不同國家的大眾媒體在報導此議題時的差異。眾多政大師生與本會會員都參與本次的專題演講。
On September 22, 2014, Professor Thomas Hollihan from USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism delivered a speech on “Mass Media and the Sino-Japanese Territorial Dispute” at National Chengchi University. Professor Hollihan analyzes the Diaoyu Islands Dispute from both international and domestic levels, and discusses the factors that affect the future development of the issue. Professor Hollihan also mentions how mass media reports on this issue may differ in different countries. Many professors and students at the National Chengchi University and several members of the Association of Foreign Relations participated in this speech.
