花蓮洄瀾有線電視報導協會於花蓮舉辦的座談會，特別訪問協會歐會長對於區域經貿整合的看法；會長表示，中國大陸現正向上崛起，台灣對外貿易依存度高，不應困於國內意識形態鬥爭，而在中國大陸發展成為世界市場的過程中缺席。
報導中提到，座談會除了花蓮產、官、學界代表踴躍出席，更邀請到國、民兩黨花蓮縣黨部主委出席，共同討論台灣於區域經貿整合中的角色。
A seminar held by the Hualien Cable Television Coverage Association in Hualien specially visited the European president of the Association on regional economic and trade integration. The president said that mainland China is now rising, Taiwan's high dependence on foreign trade should not be trapped in domestic ideology struggle, but absent in the process of China's development into a world market.
The report mentioned that in addition to representatives of Hualien's properties, officials, and academics, the symposium was invited to attend, and the heads of the Hualien County Party Department of the two parties were invited to discuss Taiwan's role in regional economic and trade integration.
