He was also assigned by the government to participate the lobby groups for the United Nations (four times) and WHA (nine times).

Due to his contributions to promote the bilateral relations between Taiwan and France, an alley Allée Michel Ching-long Lu in the Parisian suburban city Bussy-Saint-George, France was named after him.

In February 2015, he played hand puppet show to promote Taiwan when he was invited to attend the Oscar Awards for the SME at lle et Vilaine, Région of Bretagne in west France, the video clip is viewed over 910 thousand times in YouTube.

In June 2016, he was honnored by the Taipei First (Central) Lion’s Club laureate of 12th Award of contrubution for Taiwan.
